WATERTON LAKES NATIONAL PARK, ALBERTA

This Park is on Alberta / Montana Border/B.C. Border  and is the only Canadian Park that is shared with the U.S.A   We have spent 3 days here and it is absolutely one of the most beautiful Parks I have ever seen.  If you have not been here I Highly recommend it.  The Lakes are turquoise (pics below), the village is cute, we saw deer on the main street and the Prince of Wales Hotel is a Unesco Heritage Site  (pics below) is awesome and it is surrounded by beautiful mountains.   The Red Rock Canyon is a must see (pics below) and there is a Bison Paddock (pic below) that we drove through a few times  Also saw a couple of Bears and some Deer
P S  In order to eventually navigate our way home we are leaving a trail of Wine Bottles in our wake

  1. Did you camp at the Waterton Lakes or outside. We are probably going to try to go there this summer. Ann

  2. We shall have to call you Hansel and Gretel then. Leave a little wine in the bottle and you will have something to drink to quench your thirst.
