July 1 & 2
We stayed in Smithers, B.C. for two nights at a really nice spot on the river at Fort Telkwa which is approx 12 km from Smithers
Smithers is a really lovely small town - clean, attractive & well cared for. Downtown main street is really nice with flowers and trees and cute shops in well maintained buildings.
We would love to visit Smithers again and spend more time here.
Smithers also has the backdrop of the mountains which includes a glacier on Hudson Bay Mountain
We are now in Salmon Arm to visit Brian's Aunt, Uncle and cousins for several days. We are lucky to get beach front camping on Shuswap Lake every year thanks to family (its always who you know)
Relax Relax Relax on that Beautiful Beach
In closing this blog adventure:
We would like to say, enjoy the pictures we posted because the real thing was 1000 times better and if you can you should experience the beauty of Northern B.C & the Yukon (do I sound like an infomercial) We saw Moose, Black Bear, Stone Sheep, Fox, Lynx, Bison, Coyote and last but definitely not least Momma Grizzly and two cubs Also some the most amazing scenery we have every encountered. Beautiful
Check back in the future for our next adventure because we have a few more places we want to explore.
