NEW BRUNSWICK-FRIENDLY PEOPLE & THEIR HERITAGE

July 16, 2016
So as with most vacations ours has changed somewhat.  We kind of hustled through Quebec partly because the weather was not good and partly because it was the weekend and most campsites were full so we found ourselves pushing on to New Brunswick and we will see some of Quebec on our way home.
We arrived in Edmundston, New Brunswick and Brian had located a campsite online that he really wanted to go to so here we are.  We arrived on Saturday afternoon and the camp owner told us there would be a party (the seasonal campers were doing Christmas in July) with music till approx. 11pm and if that would not work for us she could put us in a different site;  We were okay with that and it turned out to be a great experience;  Around 8 pm the locals started playing their music and honestly they are really good.  We had a wonderful time and one lady told us they have some kind of event every weekend.  Honestly it so reminded us of camping with our friends in Fanny Bay.  It was a great experience of the local people and their culture and we had a blast.

New Brunswick also has an abundance of covered bridges that are absolutely awesome  We stopped at two in Edmundston and will see more as we move through the province

This church we almost passed by as we did not know it was there until we were right beside it.  It is built up on a hill and is just beautiful.
