So we decided to bring back the BLOG from our Cross Canada Trip We left home today and we stopped in Langley as we wanted to see Kai Our grandson before venturing on this adventure. We spent our 1st night in the most awesome RV site in Langley. Although it did not have full hookups this campsite came with breakfast, lunch & dinner. ( my brother Ray and his wife Colleen's driveway)Best Campsite ever. Would love to stay there again .Ray & Colleen put on a lovely dinner for Us plus Kevin, Marlise & Kai (he doesn't eat real food yet) their 2 children and all their kids. It was great to see the Niece, Nephew and their families as it has been awhile. Great evening and Thanks so much to Ray & Colleen for their hospitality.

Drove to Clinton and stayed in a nice campsite just outside of town.

Drove into Barkerville. On the drive in we saw 3 moose plus a baby moose and on the drive out saw a very healthy and large Black Bear. Barkerville is a National Heritage Site as well as a British Columbia Heritage Site. It is where the Cariboo Gold Rush started. Great history and a really nice place to enjoy the history of B.C. The weather there was unpreditctable. Rain, Sun, Hail, and -1 degree overnight. (the heater ran all night)
BUT we still enjoyed the history of the gold rush and only got a little wet.
