We stayed in Prince George one night then on to Dawson Creek. Arrived late yesterday afternoon and it was a very long drive although we did arrive in time for happy hour!!!
Dawson Creek is the gateway to the Alaska Highway.
The campsite we are in is called Mile 0 (surprise) Its right in town and next to Pioneer Village which we took a walk through Shows the heritage of Dawson Creek and the area and if you will look at the pictures I did enjoy the Barber shop / Hair Salon Sure glad I wasn't doing hair in those days!!!!!!
Brian tells me we are now half way to Whitehorse, Yukon but I think we may be going in the wrong direction as I have not found THE BEACH YET !!!
We are on the road again tomorrow (MY BIRTHDAY Wow my husband knows how to show a girl a good time) and will be without internet for a bit so sit tight we will blog again soon.
